There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Pruitt moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 32(FIN) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 32(FIN) was read the third time. Representatives Hawker, Higgins, Gattis, and Reinbold moved and asked unanimous consent that they be allowed to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. Objection was heard, and the members were required to vote. The question being: "Shall CSHB 32(FIN) pass the House?" Representative Costello moved and asked unanimous consent that the House adopt the following letter of intent: "It is the intent of CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 32(FIN), "An Act providing for the issuance of one business license for multiple lines of 2014-03-03 House Journal Page 1758 business; and providing for reissuance of a business license to make a change on the license", that changes permitted under Section 3 of CSHB 32(FIN) would include the following types of changes that are not and could not be considered substantive changes to a license: · Change of address · Information erroneously placed in the wrong part of a license application by the applicant · Error in entry by applicant including spelling error or identification of line of business. Types of changes that would be a substantive change in license or a change in business and not qualify for the change offered in Section 3 include: · Change in the name of the business · Change in the name or names of the business owner" There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 32(FIN) was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment.
